"I am a new homeowner in Highland, St. Paul. The home I bough is a cute little 1950's style home purchased from the initial homeowner. It came with the original flooring in the basement, 8 layers of flooring in the kitchen and cheap stick down vinyl flooring in the entry way and bathroom. I have spent a good majority of the last year (and savings) on remodeling, fixing, updating, replacing and bringing my new home up to clean, safe and comfortable living standards.
One of the biggest project with the complete demo and reconstruction of the basement. After much thought I decided I wanted to have carpet installed in the recreation and living room areas. I was unsure of what I wanted to do for flooring in the laundry, bathroom and bar areas.
Not knowing there were other options out there, I started by flooring shopping quest out at many big box, brick and mortar stores and quickly learned that not only was this project going to be very expensive (and most likely out of my price range), but that I was small potatoes to them and didn't get much respect or attention (even though this was a HUGE purchase for me). After many failed shopping experiences I became highly frustrated and shared this frustration with a co-worker.
My co-worker referred Marshall Guy to me with a glowing recommendation. Marshall many times for his home and rental properties and loved the quality and affordability of work he provides. When I had Marshall over for a free estimate he was professional, polite, accommodating to my busy schedule, honest, knowledgeable and offered me a quality consultation leading me to choose tile for all of the areas downstairs that weren't getting carpet installed. After seeing the quality of their work I choose to add kitchen tile back splash and tile entry to their work load. I can not begin to express how delighted I am to have met Marshall and his team. He was truly able to make finishing my home possible!"
